Autumn in the ADK

I've lived in the Bay Area over 20 years, but New York is where I grew up. Steve and I try to get back there every other year to visit family and friends. This brings us to practically every corner of the state: from the Finger Lakes region in the west, to New York City & the Hudson Valley back east, and the Adirondacks up north where my father lives. Dad is a photographer, too, so naturally we go out and shoot together.

This year I timed my visit to see peak Fall color in the ADK.  Despite Dad's admonishments that I don't have the ideal lenses for landscape photography or that I should be using my tripod more, I still managed to snap a few shots worth sharing. I hope I've done him proud.
